- Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 8:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Guidelines for visiting
Respecting privacy
To ensure we can provide the best care:
- Visitors may be asked to leave temporarily during treatments or procedures.
- Noise should be kept to a minimum; devices like radios or mobile phones should be used at low volume.
Preventing infection
- Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser before and after visiting patients.
- Avoid visiting if you’ve experienced symptoms like fever, chills, gastro or respiratory issues in the past 48 hours.
Behaviour
All individuals have the right to feel safe and respected. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
- Aggression, harassment, or intimidation
- Threatening language or actions
- Physical attacks or property damage
- Discriminatory, obscene, or demeaning language
Smoke-free policy
Smoking is prohibited at the Victorian Heart Hospital. There are no designated areas for smoking.
